A self-initiated interface design project designed to slip myself out of my comfort zone. I created a cousin of Shazam – an app where the user hums the song they're thinking about so the app can detect what song it is based on the melody given by the user. This idea was inspired by the fact that every time I go to Shazam a song, I manage to catch the end of it and miss out. By humming the tune of that song, Spoink can limit the options down to a few.
FanHub Media specialises in building & operating digital fan engagement products. They work with leading media companies and sports bodies both in Australia and overseas. Their products cover AFL, NRL, NFL, A-League, English Premier League, ATP Tour Tennis and more, and their clients include Telstra, CBS Sports (USA), ATP Tour (USA), Perform Group, Fox Sports and Tabcorp among others. I design a lot of the interface designs for both pitching ideas through to final products.
The Burger Bible
The Burger Bible, an Instagram page blogging about Melbourne’s hottest and best burgers, approached me with a design problem around their identity. I designed their logo in 2015 and then redesigned it this year in 2017. As they expand, I am designing apparel such as t-shirts and caps which are on sale at Queen Victoria Market thanks to new kids on the block, Nvrmind.

Paul Sadler Swimland
Paul Sadler Swimland has over 10 sites in Melbourne that have minimal impact on social media. Over 15 years into the 21st century, this is a critical lacking that needed to be dealt with. Via myself and the marketing coordinator at the Rowville site, we have managed to maintain a much larger social media presence through intensified posting and competitions/giveaways. This is coupled with the marketing endeavour of merchandise throughout our sites via posters and signage design.
X Golf Knox
I began working with X Golf Knox boss Joel Jacobs in a bid to revamp and revitalise various collateral that came with the restaurant-virtual golfing complex.
The first port of call saw me refreshen the business’ menu. From there I also designed the business cards, corporate function brochures, as well as many posters for food and golf specials and events, as well as flyers and online Facebook and Instagram advertisements.
This is an ongoing project.
Culture Bridge Identity Design
Culture Bridge is an independent, non-for-profit, public policy think tank dedicated to researching and finding best practice solutions in relation to cross-cultural interaction and integration issues in Australia.
I was asked by the founder of Culture Bridge to design the logo and identity for the group.
Other included designs were ideas I developed but ultimately were not selected by the client.
The designs for the 6.1.17-29.1.17 Contiki hoodie, t-shirt and singlet.
I also used this graphic device for a bag, too.
Delta Airlines Rebrand
A self-initiated project that saw me refreshen the identity and branding for Delta Airlines. The idea behind the warm colours is that Delta ditches the patriotic, cold American blue and adopts a modern look and feel. It still pays tribute to its heritage via the Achemon Sphinx Moth motif (called the 'hybrid') which symbolises Delta Airlines roots in North America, where the particular type of moth lives.
